To implement the spirits of the Meeting to Commemorate 2019 International Ozone Day, further promote ODS phase-out management in the Province and improve ODS management capacity and law enforcement capacity, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province held in Nanchang a video training workshop on ODS phase-out management.

Mr. Guo Zhenyu with the Department of Atmospheric Environment of MEE gave a detailed introduction to China’s implementation of Montreal Protocol, policy and regulation system, and supervision requirements. Mr. Shang Shuwen with the Department of Atmospheric Environment of MEE shared key points of ODS law enforcement, CTC supervision requirements and key points of inspection, stressing the serious situation of ODS phase-out management. The feature video titled Law Enforcement in Action for Ozone Layer Protection was played at the training workshop.

Organized by the Atmospheric Environment Division of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province, the training was attended by more than 680 people, including officers from relevant divisions and staff from affiliated organizations of the Department at the main venue, and officers in charge and relevant staff of ecological environment bureau of all cities and counties of the province at the sub-venues.
